Sitting close to the board and leaving plenty of room for HATs**\***, this compact heatsink helps to draw heat away from your Raspberry Pi 5, supported by the included 3x thermal pads for the CPU, RAM and PMIC to focus cooling on these critical components.

The heatsink is attached via spring-loaded clips which push into the Raspberry Pi 5 cooler mounting holes.

Whilst it won't offer the same cooling performance of an active cooling solution (with fans), we like the flexibility this heatsink offers when building compact custom enclosures where a fan might be placed elsewhere in the setup.
