Do you sometimes think about getting your electronics dressed? Well, with this service, you can get started with making the enclosure quickly and economically for your project.

Read this first

We can ONLY do Laser cutting for now. Any Laser engraving is NOT accepted.
One service, one design file.
Submit your design in either EPS or CDR format. Your design file must be less than 10mb.
The parts need to be flat. If you want to make 3D parts, you could combine multiple 2D pieces.
If you have parts that taper to a thin, sharp point, make sure the the two converging lines of the sharp corners are no less than 0.05cm apart.
Plastic thickness may vary by + or – 10%.
The plastic sheets come with a protective masking on both sides to protect its surface during the cutting.
Your order will be processed and shipped in 3-4 days (Excluding the Chinese Festival).

Difficulty

The Difficulty is mainly decided by the Laser cutting time. Make sure processing time of your design is within the range of the service you select.

Sheet Dimension

The Sheet maximum dimensions for each price bracket are just that, the maximum. The outline of your drawing must be smaller than the dimensions of the service you select.

You can select the number in the quantity box to make your design from a single material multiple times. We offer 5% discount for 50 and

10% for 100

Ordering steps

1. Purchase fusion Laser Cutting Service from online store and check out. An order number will be provided in confirmation email from Seeed Studio Bazaar.

2. To make sure orders processed smooth and accurately, compress your design file into a zip file named L(your order number). For example: L14756.rar)

3. Send your file to Laser(at)seeedstudio.com

Grove Enclosure

To avoid the troubleshooting afterwards, please check over your design as thoroughly as possible before Sending it to us. We will notify you to fix up the problem if your design fail to meet the requirements.

Exact shipping can be calculated on the view cart page (no login required).

Products that weigh more than 0.5 KG may cost more than what's shown (for example, test equipment, machines, >500mL liquids, etc).

We deliver Australia-wide with these options (depends on the final destination - you can get a quote on the view cart page):

$3+ for Stamped Mail (typically 10+ business days, not tracked, only available on selected small items)
$6+ for Standard Post (typically 6+ business days, tracked)
$10+ for Express Post (typically 2+ business days, tracked)
Pickup - Free! Only available to customers who live in the Newcastle region (must order online and only pickup after we email to notify you the order is ready). Orders placed after 2PM may not be ready until the following business day.

Non-metro addresses in WA, NT, SA & TAS can take 2+ days in addition to the above information.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.

International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:

$11+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
$16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)

If you order lots of gear, the postage amount will increase based on the weight of your order.
