## Description

The Kitronik Flexible LED Noodle Filaments USB lamp kit - 5 pack offers a great platform for introducing students to the fundamentals of electronics and lighting through the design and assembly of a lamp using [Flexible Noodle LEDs](https://core-electronics.com.au/3v-260mm-flexible-led-filament-chip-2200k.html). By participating in this project, students will gain hands-on experience in soldering and mechanical assembly, culminating in the creation of a functional hanging light-up sign that is powered via a USB connection.

The kit is supplied with 5 x USB power leads, 1 of each of the flexible filament colours making 5 in total, 5 resistors, 5 switches and two 1m lengths of wire, 1m of red and 1m of black.

Additionally, we have provided an example project, designed for use in the classroom, which can be downloaded as a PDF from the 'Resources' section below.

Both the project kit and the supporting material have been carefully designed for use in 11+ and 14+ Design and Technology lessons. The project kit has been designed so that teachers with any amount of electronics experience can use it as a basis from which they can form a scheme of work.
