Two corners are slightly beveled, which makes it difficult (but not impossible) to incorrectly plug the connector into the corresponding [male JR connector](https://core-electronics.com.au/jr-connector-pack-male.html). This connector is also compatible with [male Futaba J connectors](https://core-electronics.com.au/futaba-j-connector-pack-male.html). This pack contains three housings and twelve gold-flashed crimp pins, which is enough for three complete **female** connectors and three spare pins. The crimp pins are designed for 22–26 AWG wires, and Pololu sell a [crimping tool](https://core-electronics.com.au/crimping-tool-0-1-1-0-mm-capacity-16-28-awg.html) that works well with them.
