## Description

A rich red Australian hardwood panel made for cutting and engraving on consumer [laser machines](https://core-electronics.com.au/laser-cutters.html). At 3mm, this 600 x 300mm Jarrah Laserply sheet is here for one reason above all others: colour. Deep terracotta running to burgundy, a tone nothing else in the range comes close to.

It is also the most local sheet we stock - pressed from selected Western Australian jarrah veneers at a Melbourne facility, so both the timber and the panel are Australian. If history, story and project matter to the piece, or to whoever you're making it for, this is the one to reach for.

Both faces are presentable - A-grade on the front, B on the back - which makes it a natural fit for anything seen from both sides: hanging ornaments, keyrings, coasters, pendants.

Worth noting: engraving shows up as tonal shading rather than contrast, meaning jarrah rewards bold cut shapes, confident line work over fine detail - perfect for combining with other woods in a stack. It's dense, too, so expect to slow down or add power compared with other ply.

Every sheet in this range is manufactured void-free, so the laser beam meets consistent material wherever it cuts: no bubbling, no blown-out patches, and laser setting profiles that hold from one sheet to the next. The range is pressed in Melbourne using formaldehyde-free adhesives, removing one major source of fumes - which counts in classrooms, design studios and shared workshops. Timber is sourced from FSC-certified or sustainably managed forests.
