## Description

This sensor is perfect for robotics projects.

Inside the U-shaped plastic housing, there is an infrared LED and photodiode, an object will break the beam allowing it to be detected.

The SIG wire is pulled low (GND) without anything in the beam of the sensor, when broken the signal goes high (Vcc).

We've found that fast-moving or transparent objects doesn't fully turn on the sensor, be sure to test beforehand!
