## Description

The Hakko FX-888D was our go-to recommendation for a high-quality soldering iron, but now that the FX-888DX is out - we just have to recommend it!

This soldering station has everything we loved from the FX-888D, and Hakko has improved on the control interface, now featuring a rotary encoder and button.

The FX-888DX is compatible with T18 series tips - the same tips that worked with the FX-888D.
