## Restrictions

**For use in Australia**

- Operate only in bands and with settings that are permitted for your location and application. Check this product’s supported frequencies in the description/specs.
- If you intend to operate outside shared/licence‑exempt conditions (e.g. in other bands, at higher power, with high‑gain antennas, or extended duty cycles), you must have the appropriate authorisation.

**For use in other regions**

- Follow the spectrum rules for your country/region and select frequencies and settings accordingly.

A declaration of use will need to be submitted during checkout.

## How to buy

## Description

The HackRF One is an open source software defined radio (SDR) peripheral that transmits and receives from 1 MHz to 6 GHz, designed for development, testing and learning across modern radio systems.

Use it as a USB peripheral or for stand-alone operation to prototype RF systems, experiment with GNU Radio flowgraphs, or teach practical digital signal processing and radio concepts. Its wide frequency range and up to 20 million samples per second make it a flexible tool for research, lab work and advanced hobby projects.

### Technical Specifications

- Operating frequency: 1 MHz to 6 GHz.
- Transceiver mode: half-duplex.
- Maximum sample rate: up to 20 million samples per second.
- Sample format: 8-bit quadrature samples (8-bit I and 8-bit Q).
- Gain and filtering: software-configurable RX and TX gain and baseband filter.
- Antenna port: SMA female antenna connector; software-controlled antenna port power 50 mA at 3.3 V.
- Clocking: SMA female clock input (CLKIN) and clock output (CLKOUT) for synchronization.
- Expansion: internal pin headers for custom add-ons.
- Connectivity: Hi-Speed USB 2.0; USB-powered (ships with micro USB cable).
