## Description

This version includes **one piece of male header** along with some crafty little retaining nubbins to grip tightly into the holes on the PCB. If you need both male and female headers, [check out these!](https://core-electronics.com.au/gpio-hammer-headers-female.html)!

**Absolutely no soldering required!** All that's needed is a few gentle taps with a hammer and bazinga! Your header is securely attached to your Pi Zero.

The installation jig kit contains two acrylic base pieces, onto which your Pi Zero sits, two nylon bolts, screws, an acrylic top piece onto which you hammer, and a male header. Make sure you carefully read Pimoroni's [guide for fitting hammer headers](https://learn.pimoroni.com/tutorial/sandyj/fitting-hammer-headers).

**Adafruit strongly recommend using the installation jig!** If you want to try without it, then godspeed to you, but it's a delicate and tricky process!

**Please note:** Hammer at your own risk! Adafruit can't be held responsible for any damage that you may cause to your Pi Zero, fingers, or headers while fitting them. If you follow Pimoroni's guide carefully then you should be fine. If this worries you, then get yourself a [soldering iron](https://core-electronics.com.au/tools/soldering.html) instead!

**Note:** Pi Zero not included!
