## Description

This remote switch is useful when your battery is nestled down inside your project. The switch simply plugs into the side of the [goBILDA® Smart Dock](https://core-electronics.com.au/gobilda-smart-dock-for-20v-battery-dewalt-20v-max-compatible.html) via the auxiliary “SWITCH” connector and allows you to turn the Dock’s power on and off from afar.

A mounting plate with holes on the goBILDA® 8mm linear pattern is included to help you implement this switch **directly into the structure** of your project!

If you're using the switch without the included mounting plate, the spring-tabs of the panel mount switch allow the switch to securely snap down in a rectangular cutout for a clean and finished appearance. While that rectangular cutout will always be 12.9 - 13.1mm wide, its length required will vary according to the thickness of your material:

- 18.9 - 19.1mm length for 0.7 - 1.25mm thick
- 19.1 - 19.2mm length for 1.25 - 2.0mm thick
- 19.3 - 19.4mm length for 2.0 - 3.0mm thick
