## Description

This product consists of an [item #1520 plastic gearmotor](https://core-electronics.com.au/120-1-mini-plastic-gearmotor-hp-offset-3mm-d-shaft-output-extended-motor-shaft.html), which is the same gearmotor included with the [Romi Chassis Kits](https://core-electronics.com.au/search/?q=romi+chassis+kits), with a [Romi encoder](https://core-electronics.com.au/romi-encoder-pair-kit-12-cpr-3-5-18v.html) already installed.

The encoder has 0.1"-pitch (2.54 mm) male headers already soldered that allow it to plug into corresponding female headers on Pololu's various Romi electronics modules, including the [Romi 32U4 control board](https://core-electronics.com.au/romi-32u4-control-board.html) and the Romi [Motor Driver and Power Distribution Board](https://core-electronics.com.au/motor-driver-and-power-distribution-board-for-romi-chassis.html).
