This pack contains everything you need to add up to three female Futaba J connectors — the connectors found on many Futaba servos — to custom cables. You can use a crimping tool to attach the included pins to your own 22–26 AWG wires. This pack contains enough housings and crimp pins (including 3 spare pins) for 3 female connectors. The crimp pins have gold-flashed female contacts.

## Description

This Futaba J connector has a 0.1" pin spacing and is found on many Futaba servos. It is keyed with a polarizing tab that enforces proper orientation when used with a corresponding [male Futaba connector](https://core-electronics.com.au/futaba-j-connector-pack-male.html). This pack contains three housings and twelve gold-flashed crimp pins, which is enough for three complete **female** connectors and three spare pins. The crimp pins are designed for 22–26 AWG wires, and Pololu sell a [crimping tool](https://core-electronics.com.au/crimping-tool-0-1-1-0-mm-capacity-16-28-awg.html) that works well with them. You can use these connectors to make your own custom servo cables, servo extension cables, battery pack cables for plugging into an RC receiver, etc.

Pololu also sell [JR connectors](https://core-electronics.com.au/jr-connector-pack-female.html), which are very similar but lack the Futaba connector’s polarizing tab/slot, and Pololu carry an variety of premade [servo extension and splitter cables](https://core-electronics.com.au/category/112/servo-cables).

**Note:** these connectors are commonly referred to as “male” in the RC hobby industry, so please look carefully at the pictures of female Futaba J connectors below to make sure they are what you want.
