**Page:** https://core-electronics.com.au/fnirsi-dso-153-mini-digital-oscilloscope-1mhz-5mss.html ([markdown](https://core-electronics.com.au/fnirsi-dso-153-mini-digital-oscilloscope-1mhz-5mss.html.md))

Pocket-sized waveform viewing and test-signal output for repairs and quick checks on low-voltage circuits.

## Pricing

- **Price:** $69.75 (inc GST) — $63.41 AUD, exc GST

## Availability & dispatch

- Available with a lead time — expect dispatch between Oct 09 and Oct 26.

## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=CE11102:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/CE11102:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

**For extra-low-voltage circuits only (under 50 V AC or 120 V DC). Not for mains-voltage measurements.**

See signals up to 1 MHz on a palm-sized, battery-powered scope that also works as a 10 kHz function generator. It captures at 5 MS/s with Auto, Normal and Single triggering, so it handles repeating analogue waveforms and one-off digital events.

You don't need a bench scope to check a PWM output, watch a sensor respond or show what a square wave really looks like. Long-press AUTO and the scope sets the scale and timebase for you and puts the waveform on screen. That makes it a friendly first oscilloscope for students and hobbyists, and a handy spot-checker for low-frequency work.

The built-in DDS generator outputs 14 waveforms from 0.1 to 3.3 V, so you can drive a filter, amplifier or input stage and look at the result on the same device. Everything runs from a 1000 mAh rechargeable battery (about 4 hours per charge) with USB-C charging, in a 99 x 68.3 x 19.5 mm body that fits in a toolbox or pocket.

Need more bandwidth? The [DSO-510](https://core-electronics.com.au/fnirsi-dso-510-oscilloscope.html) uses the same compact form factor with a 10 MHz / 48 MS/s front end and a 50 kHz generator.

### Features

- **Get a readable waveform in seconds** with one-press AUTO, which configures the scale and timebase without manual tuning
- **Catch one-off events as well as repeating signals** with Auto, Normal and Single trigger modes on rising or falling edges
- **Stimulate and measure with one tool** via the built-in 10 kHz DDS generator, which offers 14 waveforms including sine, square, sawtooth, step and noise
- **Measure higher signal amplitudes** using an X10 probe (sold separately), which extends the input range from ±40 V to ±400 V within extra-low-voltage limits
- **Work anywhere, no power point needed**, thanks to a 1000 mAh lithium battery with about 4 hours of runtime and USB-C charging
- **Read traces clearly** on a 2.8-inch 320 x 240 colour display, with AC/DC coupling
