## Description

The FlySky FS-i6 is a programmable, 6-channel 2.4GHz AFHDS 2A radio telemetry system designed to provide control over a wide array of RC vehicles. Acting as the command centre for your project, it transmits high-resolution control signals to a paired receiver, making it a staple for fixed-wing aircraft, multicopters, and even robotic platforms.

For makers transitioning from basic "toy-grade" controllers, the FS-i6 solves the common frustration of signal interference and limited customisation. By utilising a digital frequency hopping system and allowing for 20 distinct model profiles, this transmitter eliminates the need for multiple controllers and provides the reliability required for long-range outdoor flight or interference-heavy workshop environments.

Despite its entry-level price point, the FS-i6 features an ergonomic, solid chassis and a clear, backlit LCD for real-time telemetry and programming. It is built to a high standard of engineering, featuring high-gain omnidirectional antennas and a 4096-step stick resolution that ensures smooth, granular movement for every servo or motor in your build.

For simple, one-way communication over one wire, [the FS-X14S Sbus receiver](https://core-electronics.com.au/flysky-fs-x14s-sbus-transceiver.html) is the go to, especially for custom robotics projects where your own microcontroller is handling actuator movement. Or if RC/PWM is your protocol of choice, [the FS-iA4B](https://core-electronics.com.au/flysky-fx-ia4b-pwm-receiver.html) is perfect.

Requires 4x [AA Batteries](https://core-electronics.com.au/aa-batteries.html) (sold separately), we recommend [the Eneloop NiMH cells](https://core-electronics.com.au/panasonic-ni-mh-battery-charger-with-4-eneloop-batteries.html) (also available [without a charger](https://core-electronics.com.au/panasonic-eneloop-ni-mh-1-2v-2000mah-aa-4-pack.html)), allowing the controller to last ages before requiring a recharge

### Features

- **Maintain a rock-solid connection** in cluttered RF environments thanks to the AFHDS 2A (Automatic Frequency Hopping Digital System) which constantly switches between 142 channels to find the clearest path.
- **Monitor your vehicle’s health in real-time** using the integrated bidirectional telemetry, allowing you to track receiver voltage and sensor data directly on the transmitter screen.
- **Scale your hobby without clutter** by utilising the 20-model memory, which lets you switch between different aircraft or robots with unique trims and mixes.
- **Achieve professional-grade precision** with 4096 levels of stick resolution, providing the fine motor control necessary for stable hovering and aerobatic manoeuvres.
- **Customise your control logic** through the intuitive menu system, featuring programmable mixes, adjustable throttle curves, and sub-trims to fine-tune your hardware's mechanical performance.
- **Future-proof your gear** with a dedicated data port that supports firmware updates and allows for connection to a PC for simulators or a microcontroller or SBC for robotics projects.
