### Each FeatherS3 Neo ships in an antistatic bag with:

- Color pinout card
- Unassembled male headers

### Onboard 7x7 RGB Matrix? Really?

Yeah, why not! Getting compelling information out of a single RGB LED can be a real challenge, so with a 7x7 matrix, you can scroll text, show icons or even display cool animating patterns!

The RGB Matrix is powered from its own 3.3V LDO, which automatically shuts down if you put the FeatherS3 Neo into deep sleep. You can also turn off the RGB LED power via code by setting IO39 HIGH for on and LOW for off.

### Ships with CircuitPython pre-installed!

FeatherS3 Neo ships with CircuitPython pre-installed, including the UF2 bootloader, so you can easily update your FeatherS3 Neo with the latest CircuitPython firmware, whenever you desire.

As newer versions of CircuitPython are released, you are able to update as you require from [ciruitpython.org](https://circuitpython.org/board/unexpectedmaker_feathers2/)

There is also a MicroPython port (soon) plus [ESP-IDF](https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp-idf/en/latest/esp32s2/get-started/index.html) and [Arduino](https://github.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/) support if you prefer coding in C++.

### PLEASE NOTE: Arduino and Platform IO

The FeatherS3 Neo board definition for the Arduino IDE has been PR'd for the next 3.0.x release of the Arduino ESP32 Core, but until that is out you can select UM TINYS3 as the board to develop for.

With regards to PlatformIO, it is uncertain right now if versions of 3.x and later of the Arduino ESP32 Core will be supported, you can use UM TINYS3 as the board setup to develop in PlatformIO using 2.0.x versions.
