## Description

Add Internet to your next project with an adorable, bite-sized WiFi microcontroller, at a price you like! This module contains an ESP8285, which is an ESP8266 processor with 1MB of FLASH memory already built in. **You can use it just like an ESP8266, it's the same processor and WiFi** The ESP8266 processor from Espressif is an 80 MHz microcontroller with a full WiFi front-end (both as client and access point) and TCP/IP stack with DNS support as well.

Because the ESP8286 contains the FLASH memory inside the chip, the modules that use it are much smaller and a little less expensive too. The only trade off is you don't get [a full 4MB like Adafruit's ESP8266 SMT module](https://core-electronics.com.au/esp8266-smt-module-esp-12.html).

These modules are very easy to hand solder, with big pads! Comes with that 1 MB internal flash, ESP8266 processor, and onboard antenna. These come pre-progammed with the NodeMCU Lua firmware, so you are ready to rock.
