## Description

A round AMOLED touchscreen and a dual-core ESP32-S3 share a board under 50 mm across, with a motion sensor, real-time clock, dual microphones and speaker output built in.

Prototyping a wearable, a smart-home dial or a desktop voice assistant normally means wiring a display, touch controller, IMU, RTC, audio hardware and a battery charger together, then fitting it all into a small space. Here they are already integrated on one PCB, so you can start on firmware instead of wiring.

Unlike an LCD, the AMOLED panel controls light at every pixel. That gives a 100000:1 contrast ratio, deep blacks and a 178° viewing angle, so a watch face or control dial stays legible from almost any side.

Connect over USB-C to flash firmware and read logs, then develop in Arduino IDE or ESP-IDF using Waveshare's guides and demos. Plug a 3.7 V lithium battery into the onboard header and the board runs untethered.

### Features

- Runs a touch interface alongside Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with the dual-core ESP32-S3R8 pairing 8 MB PSRAM and 16 MB flash for fonts, images and animations
- Leaves more IO free for your project, as the CO5300 display driver uses QSPI and the CST9217 touch chip uses I2C
- Picks out voices over background noise with a dual-microphone array and ES7210 echo-cancellation chip, suited to speech recognition and near- or far-field wake words
- Talks back through the included speaker via the onboard low-power audio codec, giving a complete audio path for AI voice assistants built on online large language model platforms
- Responds to movement, with the QMI8658 6-axis IMU (accelerometer and gyroscope) detecting motion gestures and counting steps
- Keeps time when USB is unplugged, with the PCF85063 RTC running from the connected battery
- Takes care of power, with the AXP2101 PMIC handling battery charging, multiple voltage outputs and battery life optimisation
- Records data and plays media from the TF card slot
- Connects sensors and debug tools through the 2.54 mm 8-pin header (GPIO and UART), with reserved pads for I2C and expanded IO
- Supports an external antenna through the IPEX1 connector by resoldering an onboard resistor
- Lets you assign custom functions to the PWR and BOOT buttons
