So in keeping with my theme of cool ferromagnetic projects this week, I present to you this wonderful, crazy clock created by a designer known as 'Kelfkoelman'. It is a wonder of science and art that is designed to bridge the gap between technology and organic devices. It uses a ferromagnetic fluid which is moved by a magnetic mechanism behind the scenes.
The beauty of it is that the natural structure of the fluid creates slightly unpredictable shapes which give the organic, alive look of the numbers. The design is limited to just numbers for a clock however, you could also use it to display animations and text.
