## Description

The Dobot Vision Kit is a hardware and software platform that simplifies adding image processing to a cobot setup. The software has many sophisticated features, including pattern matching, positioning (rotation and translation), measurement, item detection and color recognition, and defect detection. The kit includes an HD (5 megapixel) color industrial camera, a 12 mm fixed focus lens, and a white auxiliary light source (see specifications below for more information), along with a base plate, mounting hardware, and various accessories such as a calibration grid, colored stacking/sorting blocks, and some materials for use with the software’s premade demonstrations. The Dobot Vision Studio software supports a graphical programming interface with drag-and-drop operations. The software offers over a thousand image processing operators and powerful algorithms. It also includes various demo programs for common operations such as taking measurements, doing calibrations and alignments, and image processing, as well as color, bar code, and character recognition. The kit provides various SDK interfaces and supports GigEVision and USB3Vision standards, as well as other communication protocols such as TCP, UDP, serial port, Modbus, and PLC.
