Thin, rigid woven composite for milling lightweight drone arms, covers and sensor mounts on your desktop CNC.

## Pricing

- **Price:** $32.58 (inc GST) — $29.62 AUD, exc GST

## Availability & dispatch

- In stock, ships same business day if ordered before 2PM (Australia/Sydney).
- We can dispatch 10 today; more stock is typically available with a 10–50 day lead time.

## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=CE10785:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/CE10785:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

Featherweight stiffness for parts that need to hold their shape without adding mass. Woven carbon strands set in resin gives a thin plate that beats plastics on rigidity and aluminium on weight.

At 2mm, this is the thickness for parts where every gram counts: small drone frames and arms, camera and sensor mounts, RC chassis covers, enclosure lids and stiffening plates. It cuts through in fewer passes than thicker stock, and the 200 x 250mm sheet leaves room to nest several parts in a single job, or bigger parts.

Carbon fibre is abrasive and can fray or delaminate with the wrong tooling. Makera recommends corn (burr) bits for profiling and publishes starting parameters for its Carvera machines, and the sheet sits comfortably within the Carvera's 360 x 240mm work area. Always run dust extraction and wear a respirator, as carbon fibre dust is harmful if inhaled.

### Features

- Parts stay rigid without the weight of metal, which makes it ideal for frames and mounts that must not flex
- Thin 2mm profile machines in fewer passes, saving time and tool wear on an abrasive material
- Generous 200 x 250mm sheet fits multiple parts or a complete small frame in one job
- Clean edges and holes with the right tooling, backed by Makera's published corn bit, drill and chamfer parameters
- Part of a matching range, so you can step up to 3mm or 4mm sheet for load-bearing parts
