## Description

Introducing [Blue-Bot](https://core-electronics.com.au/blue-bot-rechargeable.html), the Bluetooth floor robot. This is a set of 6 Blue-Bots and also includes a [docking station](https://core-electronics.com.au/bee-bot-blue-bot-charging-dock.html), allowing you to charge 6 Blue-Bots or rechargeable Bee-Bots at the same time.

This pack will bring logic-driven decision making, the very nature of programming, to your classroom. Students can program the Bots via the app (all platforms supported) or using the in-built controls to create their own movement based programs and scripts.

**Note:** To minimise e-waste the charging dock does not come with a USB wall charger. If you don't already have a drawer full of spares at home pick up a [suitable USB wall adaptor](https://core-electronics.com.au/usb-mains-mini-power-adaptor.html) separately.

### Using Blue-Bots in the Classroom

Once you're familiar with the Blue-Bot controls and app, you can set forth on planning some lessons around it! Some great ideas we've seen are:

1. Using the project mats and obstacles, work in teams to program Blue-Bot from one side of the mat to the other.
2. Using a blank mat/floor space, have students program Blue-Bot to draw different shapes in groups
3. Have a maze group and a blue-bot group. The maze group designs a maze on paper that the challenge group has to program blue-bot to navigate.
4. Use Blue-Bot to create and traverse a number line and do basic addition subtraction
5. Estimation techniques (how many bluebot steps from A to B)
