Don’t hack apart a nice clean barrel jack connection just because it won’t reach, this male-to-female barrel jack extension cable will make the reach.

 This cable is terminated with 5.5x2.1mm barrel connectors, one male and one female, and fits most of our products that use a DC barrel jack for power (RedBoard, RaspiRobot board, etc.)
