## Description

Give your 3D prints a lustrous, high-gloss silk finish with colour that changes as the model prints. Like any PLA blend, this filament is intended for general-purpose printing where appearance and visual impact matter more than high-temperature or structural performance — but where standard PLA looks flat, Silk Multi-Color is built to catch the eye.

This material is a natural choice for figurines, vases, sculptures, props, cosplay pieces, display models and decorative objects. It comes in two styles: **Silk Dual Colour**, which blends two silk tones into a single strand so the colour shifts as you rotate the printed part, and **Silk Gradient**, which flows through 2 to 4 colour transitions across a spool for smooth, multitone effects in a single print - no filament swaps required.

- **Silky High-Gloss Finish:** A glossy, silk-like surface that reads as premium and professional straight off the print bed - ideal for parts meant to be seen and displayed rather than hidden inside an assembly.
- **Dynamic Colour Effects:** Dual Color shifts hue as the model is rotated, while Gradient flows smoothly between tones across the print. Both add depth and movement that a single flat colour can't.
- **Automatic Parameter Syncing (AMS):** Each spool carries a built-in RFID tag that communicates directly with the Bambu Lab AMS (Automatic Material System), automatically loading the correct material type and colour profile — load and print, no manual setup.
- **Eco-Friendly Spool System:** Compatible with Bambu Lab's reusable spool system. Buying "Refill" coils rather than a full new spool reduces plastic waste and saves a few dollars on every purchase.
 
### Printing Notes

- For the best surface quality, slow the **outer wall speed to 40 mm/s**.
- Dry before use if the filament has absorbed moisture (55°C for 8 hours), and store in a sealed container with desiccant or in an enclosed AMS.
- Silk Dual Colour is **not recommended for A-series printers** — their feed path carries a higher risk of filament rotation, which can cause uneven colour transitions.
