## Pricing

- **Price:** $68.99 (inc GST) — $62.72 AUD, exc GST

## Availability & dispatch

- Available with a lead time — expect dispatch between Sep 15 and Oct 05.

## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=CE10575:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/CE10575:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

### Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) is an elastomeric filament designed for components that require flexibility, elongation, and resistance to abrasion. The 85A Shore hardness rating places this material on the softer end of the 3D printing spectrum, allowing for parts that can absorb significant impact, dampen vibration, and withstand repeated bending without fatigue or plastic deformation.

Unlike standard PLA or PETG which are rigid and prone to shattering under high stress, TPU behaves more like a durable rubber. However, this flexibility introduces a manufacturing trade-off: it requires a constrained filament path and generally slower print speeds than rigid materials to prevent buckling or clogging the extruder.

### Core Features

- **High-Flex Durability:** With a Shore hardness of 85A, this filament is softer and more pliable than standard 95A TPU. It is the ideal engineering choice for parts requiring vibration dampening, non-slip feet, or complex seals that must conform to irregular surfaces.
- **Flow Rate Optimisation:** While flexible filaments are traditionally slow to print, this formulation is engineered for consistent extrusion flow.
- **Critical Printing Advice:** TPU is highly hygroscopic (moisture-absorbing). For optimal layer adhesion and surface finish, this filament **must be dried** before use. Additionally, default settings do not allow printing through multi-material AMS units, only the HT.
