## Description

A translucent PETG that makes light part of your design without giving up PETG's toughness. Light passes through and diffuses, so lamp covers, diffusers, display cases and see-through enclosures glow rather than block.

Translucent PLA is the easier choice for light effects, but its heat deflection temperature is 55 °C (0.45 MPa). PETG Translucent raises that to 74 °C at the same load. Choose it when parts will face sun, weather or warm electronics.

How clear a print looks depends on its size, shape and settings. With the right print speed, nozzle temperature and infill density, the result ranges from translucent to transparent. Don't expect glass-like clarity. Bambu Lab's transparent PETG guide (linked below) explains how to get the clearest prints.

This filament absorbs moisture readily and must be dried before use. Damp filament leaves bubbles, which show clearly in a clear print. Dry it at 65 °C for 8 hours. Keep it protected from moisture while printing and in storage, below 20% RH and sealed with desiccant.
