## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=CE10443:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/CE10443:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

### PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified) is used for its balance of impact resistance, ductility, and ease of printing. The "HF" designation indicates a High Flow formulation, specifically engineered to address the viscosity limitations of standard PETG. This allows the material to flow smoothly through the nozzle at the high acceleration and velocity rates typical of modern printers, minimising common issues such as under-extrusion or stringing during rapid travel moves.

Unlike PLA, PETG offers superior flexibility and durability, meaning parts are less likely to snap under mechanical stress. While it does not possess the extreme temperature resistance of ABS or ASA, it prints reliably on an open bed without the warping issues or toxic fumes associated with styrene-based plastics.

In industry, the base polymer is the standard for stretch-blow moulding watertight containers, such as soft drink bottles and food packaging. Consequently, this filament inherits excellent chemical and moisture resistance, making it the preferred choice for manufacturing water-resistant enclosures, gardening components, and workshop jigs that may be exposed to oils or solvents.

### Core Features

- **Chemical & Weather Resistance:** PETG-HF maintains structural integrity in environments where PLA would degrade. Its resistance to UV radiation, moisture, and mild acids makes it suitable for functional outdoor parts and water-involved applications.
- **Automatic Parameter Syncing (AMS):** The spool features an embedded RFID tag that communicates directly with the Bambu Lab AMS. This automatically loads the correct colour, material type, and optimised thermal profile without manual configuration.
- **High-Speed Optimisation:** Standard PETG often struggles above 100mm/s. This HF variant is formulated to support significantly higher volumetric flow rates, allowing you to utilise the full speed capabilities of X1 and P1 series printers without sacrificing layer adhesion.
- **Eco-Friendly Spool System:** Refills are designed to fit onto a reusable Bambu Lab master spool. By eliminating the single-use plastic hub, you significantly reduce plastic waste and save a few dollars on material costs.
- **Moisture Management:** PETG is hygroscopic and will absorb moisture from the air, which can cause stringing and popping. For critical engineering tolerances, we recommend drying the filament before long prints to ensure optimal surface finish and layer bonding.
