## Pricing

- **Price:** $45.99 (inc GST) — $41.81 AUD, exc GST

## Availability & dispatch

- In stock, ships same business day if ordered before 2PM (Australia/Sydney).
- We can dispatch 1 today; more stock is typically available with a 21–40 day lead time.

## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=CE10564:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/CE10564:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

### Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA) is engineered specifically for durability in harsh sunny environments. Its primary advantage is exceptional UV stability and weather resistance, meaning it retains its mechanical strength and colour vibrancy even after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and rain.

Structurally, ASA is very similar to ABS, offering high impact resistance and excellent thermal stability. However, unlike ABS—which tends to yellow and become brittle under UV radiation - ASA remains stable over time. While it is marginally easier to print than standard ABS, it still requires a high bed temperature and an enclosed chamber to mitigate warping.

### Core Features

- **Ultimate Weather Resistance:** Designed to withstand full sun, this filament is extremely resistant to UV radiation and moisture. It is the ideal choice for outdoor sensor housings, garden fixtures, and automotive components that require long-term structural integrity.
- **Automatic Parameter Syncing:** The spool features an embedded RFID tag that communicates directly with the Bambu Lab AMS (Automatic Material System). This automatically loads the correct print profile, preventing user error and eliminating the need for manual parameter tuning.
- **High-Speed Optimisation:** Bambu Lab has tuned this ASA to handle higher flow rates than generic alternatives. It maintains consistent extrusion and layer bonding at speeds up to 250 mm/s, provided the hotend temperature is managed correctly.
- **Reusable Spool System:** This filament comes on a high-temperature reusable spool designed to withstand drying cycles.
