## Description

Give a spare desktop PSU a second life as a capable multi-rail bench supply. This board takes a 20 or 24-pin ATX connector and breaks every pin out to labelled screw terminals, so you can tap 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V and -12 V for your projects without cutting a single wire.

Getting power out of an ATX supply usually means bridging PS\_ON to ground with a paperclip and splicing leads. Here a latching push button turns the supply on and off. Eight indicator LEDs show which rails are live, along with standby and PWR\_OK status, so you can see at a glance that the supply is healthy.

Setup takes a minute:

- Plug in the PSU's 20 or 24-pin connector, lining up pin 1 with the marked side (left). The wrong orientation will short the supply
- Wire your load to the labelled screw terminals
- Press the latching switch to turn the PSU on, then check the rail LEDs

### Features

- Get every ATX rail without modifying your PSU: a standard 24-pin socket accepts 20, 20+4 and 24-pin plugs
- Power on and off with one press, thanks to the latching PS\_ON switch
- Check each rail at a glance with independent indicator LEDs, including PWR\_OK (blinking indicates a fault)
- Wire up quickly and securely with two rows of labelled screw terminals
- Works with ATX and STX power supplies
- Mount it on a bench or in an enclosure using the four mounting holes

### Specifications

 | Property | Specification |
|---|---|
| Input connector | 24-pin ATX (accepts 20, 20+4 and 24-pin) |
| Compatible supplies | ATX, STX |
| Rails broken out | +3.3 V, +5 V, +12 V, -12 V, +5 VSB |
| Signals broken out | PS\_ON, PWR\_OK |
| Output terminals | 24 screw terminals (2 rows of 12) |
| Indicators | 8 LEDs: +3.3 V, +5 V (x2), +5 VSB, +12 V, PWR\_OK, PS\_ON, -12 V |
| Power control | Latching push-button switch (PS\_ON) |
| Mounting holes | 4x Ø2.5 mm (approx. 63.8 x 52.8 mm spacing) |
| PCB dimensions | 70 x 58.5 mm |

### Notes

- +5 VSB is always live while the PSU is connected to mains power
- Some supplies don't output -5 V or -12 V (STX supplies output neither)
- On some ITX/STX supplies the PWR\_OK logic is reversed, so the LED is on when the supply is off
