**Page:** https://core-electronics.com.au/arduino-9-axis-motion-shield.html ([markdown](https://core-electronics.com.au/arduino-9-axis-motion-shield.html.md))

Allow your Arduino to measure movement: orientation, acceleration and magnetic fields!

## Pricing

- **Price:** $69.30 (inc GST) — $63.00 AUD, exc GST
- **Quantity discounts:** 5+ $60.48 (exc GST) · 15+ $59.22 (exc GST)

## Availability & dispatch

- Available with a lead time — expect dispatch between Aug 21 and Aug 25.

## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=A000070:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/A000070:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

The Arduino 9 Axes Motion Shield places an on-board, fused orientation sensor onto the Arduino Uno shield form factor, delivering absolute orientation and raw motion data without sensor fusion having to be run on your microcontroller. It pairs Bosch Sensortec's BNO055 sensor with the sensor fusion BSX3.0 runtime to provide ready-to-use orientation outputs.

**Technical Specifications**

- Sensor model: Bosch Sensortec BNO055 (absolute orientation sensor)
- Accelerometer: triaxial, 14-bit resolution
- Gyroscope: triaxial, 16-bit resolution, +/- 2000 degrees per second full scale
- Geomagnetic sensor: triaxial magnetic field measurement
- On-board processing: 32-bit microcontroller running BSX3.0 FusionLib (sensor fusion executed on-sensor)
- Data provided: three-dimensional acceleration, yaw rate and magnetic field strength — each on 3 perpendicular axes
