## Description

This Male-to-Female 8mm REX™ CV Joint offers positive drive at variable angles. A constant-velocity (CV) joint allows you to create a drive that is angular to the input or output. This kind of drive is critical in applications that require power transfer to occur through a moving section, such as in suspensions and arms.

This male-to-female joint provides a stainless steel 8mm REX® shaft on one side. On the other side is a shaft-coupling 8mm REX™ bore that allows you to choose your own length of 8mm REX™ shafting. (A set-screw provides a secure connection for the mating 8mm REX™ shaft.) Both sides connect at a junction that’s specially designed to transfer shaft rotation along a nonlinear path.

The 8mm REX™ profile (a combination of **R**ound and h**EX**) facilitates fierce positive drive and has extensive compatibility with 8mm REX™ bore components throughout the goBILDA® system. It also means that this joint is able to rotate smoothly in 8mm round bore bearings! This joint’s shaft has an M4 hole that provides for additional attachment options.
