## Description

This segment display is a breadboard-friendly 0.5" single-digit, 7-segment LED display with a **common cathode configuration**. Its compact design and straightforward operation make it perfect for electronics projects like clocks, counters, and timers. Thanks to its pin layout, it can be easily aligned across the center of a breadboard for multi-digit displays.

### Features:

- **Breadboard Friendly Design:**
    The pins are positioned along the top and bottom of the display, making it easy to place multiple units side by side across the centre section of a breadboard for seamless multi-digit displays.
- **Common Cathode Configuration:**
    Simplifies understanding and usage. When the logic output is **high (Vdd)**, the segment is **on**—making it more intuitive than common anode displays, which require a low (GND) signal to activate.
- **Compact Size:**
    Measuring **19mm long** (top to bottom), this display fits comfortably across the middle section of a breadboard, leaving two free pins on each side for easy wiring.
- **Low Forward Voltage:**
    With a forward voltage of **2V**, the display works smoothly with both **3.3V and 5V logic** levels when used with appropriate series resistors.
