## Description

Use this cute solenoid to make locks for dioramas, hit a bell or anywhere you need small and quick linear movement.

The solenoid comes with a pre-crimped JST-PH (2mm pitch) connector, but shoving some jumper wires in lets you use it with headers, screw terminals or [breadboards ](https://core-electronics.com.au/prototyping.html#category_61)(make sure you get a professional breadboard to handle more power!)

Use a [MOSFET ](https://core-electronics.com.au/freetronics-n-mosfet-driver-output-module.html)or [relay ](https://core-electronics.com.au/components.html#category_49)to switch the solenoid on and off, and power everything with a[ 5V plug pack](https://core-electronics.com.au/5v-dc-2a-fixed-2-1mm-tip-appliance-plugpack.html).
