## Description

Four Raspberry Pi 5s, each with its own NVMe SSD, live in a single 19-inch rack unit - and every one of them slides out the front without touching the rack screws.

Clustering Raspberry Pis usually means a sprawl of boards, SD cards and power bricks across a shelf. This chassis fixes all of that at once: each Pi rides on its own removable tray with hand-tightened thumbscrews, so swapping a node takes seconds, and every tray carries an RS-P11 expansion board that routes the Pi 5's PCIe lane out to an M.2 NVMe SSD.

Each tray also breaks out the Pi's I2C and UART to standard Grove connectors on the front panel, alongside a USB-C power input and a software-controlled red UID LED on GPIO4 - flash it to find the node you're about to pull. The fifth bay carries a 0.91-inch OLED behind an acrylic panel, ready to show CPU load, memory, IP address or serial number for whichever Pi you wire it to (or for the whole cluster).

### Features

- Runs four Raspberry Pi 5 nodes in 44 mm of rack height, in any standard 19-inch rack
- Full-speed NVMe storage per node - the included boards carry the Pi 5's PCIe lane to an M.2 M-key SSD in 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 length
- Front-removable trays with hand-tightened thumbscrews, so a node can be pulled and replaced without unracking the chassis
- Programmable red UID LED on GPIO4 per node — blink it to physically identify a machine before you touch it
- Grove I2C and Grove UART broken out to the front of every tray at 3.3 V logic, for sensors and console access without reaching around the back
- Fifth bay ships configured as a 0.91-inch 128x32 OLED panel with fully customisable content, so cluster status is readable at a glance
- USB-C power input on each expansion board, keeping power cabling at the front in dense installs
- Steel chassis with all mounting hardware, FPC cables and Micro HDMI leads included - no extra shopping list to get the first node running

**Important:** do not power a node from the Raspberry Pi's own USB-C port and the expansion board's USB-C port at the same time - use one or the other, or you risk damaging the hardware.

*Raspberry Pi 5 boards, NVMe SSDs and power supplies are not included.*
