## Description

Serious tower-style cooling for the Raspberry Pi 4 and Pi 3. A copper heat pipe, a stack of heatsink fins and a colour-cycling fan work together to keep your CPU well clear of thermal throttling.

The Raspberry Pi 4 starts throttling at 80 °C, so long compiles, emulation or overclocking can quietly slow you down. 52Pi says this cooler takes an overclocked Pi from around 80 °C down to roughly 40 °C.

A 5 mm copper heat pipe draws heat up from the SoC into multi-layer fins, and a 7-blade fan pushes air straight through the stack. It runs from the Pi's own GPIO header at just 0.4 W, so you don't need a separate power supply. Steel brackets bolt it to the standard Model B mounting holes, and the fan's RGB LEDs cycle through 7 colours on their own.

### Features

- Keeps sustained workloads and overclocks cool, thanks to a 5 mm copper heat pipe feeding a multi-layer fin stack
- Moves plenty of air through the fins with a 7-blade fan
- Powered straight from the GPIO header (5 V, 0.08 A), with no extra power supply or wiring
- Adds some colour to your build: the fan's RGB LEDs cycle through 7 colours automatically
- Can run quieter: move the red lead from 5 V to a 3.3 V pin for lower noise and a softer glow, at the cost of some airflow
- Bolts on securely with steel mounting brackets and brass standoffs, and thermal pads give good contact with the SoC
- Protects the board underneath with an included acrylic panel. Note: the tower is too tall for most enclosed cases.
