## Description

This easy-to-use 16850 battery holder with 4 slots offers micro and type-C charging inputs. It features 5V and 3.3V output with a variety of connection points.

The 5V/2A output can be connected via five through-hole connections or one USB-A socket and the 3.3V/1A output has five through-hole connections.

It comes with overcharge and over-discharge protections that greatly extend the lifespan of your 18650 battery. The onboard DIP switch allows users to switch between HOLD and NORMAL modes. In Normal mode, it auto sleeps(shutdown) when the current is too low, while in HOLD mode, it keeps outputting and does not shut down until the over-discharge protection is triggered. This battery holder can be worked as the power source for micro devices, outdoor equipment, or DIY smart vehicles.

### Board Overview

The button controls the module switch, lightly press to turn on, long press for 3 seconds to turn off. The DIP switch can switch between HOLD mode and NORMAL mode, LED1, LED2, LED3, LED4 represent the current power. When charging, it will blink. It stops blinking when the battery is fully charged.

This battery holder has a maximum current of 3 Amps (3A is not recommended), which will depend on the rating of the 18650 batteries used.

Pay attention to battery polarity when installing. The + and - are clearly marked on the board, and the wrong direction will burn the module.

### Note:

The maximum current is 3A (3A is not recommended), and the output of the current depends on the quality of the 18650 battery.

Pay attention to battery polarity when installing. The + and - are clearly marked on the board, and the wrong direction will burn the module.

**Note that this board does not output the full current when charging due to its power path management, and briefly interrupts its output when the charger is plugged in. This means it isn't suitable as a UPS for an SBC.**
