## Description

Keep your Compute Module 5 cool with a finned heatsink and fan that sits directly over the module, in a body just 13 mm thick.

It suits CM5 carrier boards with a 4-pin PWM fan header. Waveshare shows it fitted on the official [Compute Module 5 IO Board](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-compute-module-5-io-board.html) and on Waveshare's CM5 PoE base board (CM5-PoE-BASE-A). The cooler is shaped to leave the CM5's antenna section clear.

Setup takes three steps:

- Attach the included thermal tapes to the [Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-compute-module-5.html)
- Seat the cooler on the CM5 and fix it in place with the included screws
- Connect the fan lead to your carrier board's fan header
