## Description

This 30 tooth, MOD 0.8 gear will mate with any MOD 0.8 gear. When building on pattern, the most common partners for this gear are another 30 tooth gear, or a 90 tooth hub gear. Utilizing a second 30 tooth gear will create a compact 1:1 ratio on a 24mm center distance. A 1:1 ratio is useful when you have an assembly where you want two pieces to move at the same time, but in opposite directions. Mating with a 90 tooth hub gear will create a 3:1 ratio on 48mm centers and can be used as an overdrive or underdrive.
