These shrouded, 5-pin JST XH-style male connectors have straight leads. They can be used with female JST XH-style connectors, and they also work with other many other 0.1″-pitch female connectors, such as Pololu's female premium jumper wires. They are sold in packs of two units.

## Description

These shrouded, male connectors work with female JST XH-style connectors, like those on the [2-pin female XH-style cable](https://core-electronics.com.au/2-pin-female-jst-xh-style-cable-15cm.html). The 2.5 mm pin spacing is close to the standard 0.1" grid spacing on many perfboards, so these units can readily be substituted for basic [0.1" male headers](https://core-electronics.com.au/0-100-2-54-mm-breakaway-male-header-1x40-pin-straight.html), and they work with Pololu's female [premium jumper wires](https://core-electronics.com.au/prototyping/prototyping-wire.html) and [crimp connector housings](https://core-electronics.com.au/connectors-sockets/crimp-connector-housings.html).
