## Description

This connector is a double-row, 14-pin, low-profile male header strip. The shortened pins have a length of 8.75 mm, which is 2.9 mm shorter than [typical 0.1" straight male header pins](https://core-electronics.com.au/0-100-2-54-mm-breakaway-male-header-2x40-pin-straight.html), and the plastic case is 1 mm thinner than on standard male headers. The standard 0.1" spacing allows use with perforated [prototyping PCBs](https://core-electronics.com.au/prototyping/proto-boards.html) and [female headers](https://core-electronics.com.au/0-100-2-54-mm-female-header-2x7-pin-straight.html).

This connector was specifically designed for connecting the [LCD](https://core-electronics.com.au/8x2-character-lcd-black-bezel-parallel-interface.html) on the [Zumo 32U4](https://core-electronics.com.au/pololu-zumo-32u4-robot-kit-no-motors.html) to the low-profile female LCD header on the main PCB.
