This custom connector is a double-row, 14-pin, extended (22.85 mm) male header strip. Pololu include this connector with Pololu's 3pi expansion kits for connecting the expansion PCB to the 3pi robot.

## Description

This connector is a double-row, 14-pin, extended male header strip. The extra-long pins have a length of 22.85 mm, which is 11.2 mm longer than [typical 0.1" straight male header pins](https://core-electronics.com.au/0-100-2-54-mm-breakaway-male-header-2x40-pin-straight.html). The standard 0.1" spacing allows use with perforated [prototyping PCBs](https://core-electronics.com.au/prototyping/proto-boards.html) and [female headers](https://core-electronics.com.au/0-100-2-54-mm-female-header-2x7-pin-straight.html).

This connector was specifically designed for routing electrical connections from the [3pi robot](https://core-electronics.com.au/pololu-3pi-robot.html) base to an expansion board. It is provided as part of the [3pi expansion kits](https://core-electronics.com.au/3pi-expansion-kit-with-cutouts-black.html), including the PCB-less [hardware-only kit](https://core-electronics.com.au/3pi-expansion-kit-hardware-no-pcb.html).
