This custom connector is a double-row, 14-pin, extended (17.1 mm) male header strip. Pololu use this header to connect the LCD on the 3pi robot to the main PCB.

## Description

This connector is a double-row, 14-pin, extended male header strip. The extra-long pins have a length of 17.1 mm, which is 5.45 mm longer than [typical 0.1" straight male header pins](https://core-electronics.com.au/0-100-2-54-mm-breakaway-male-header-2x40-pin-straight.html). The standard 0.1" spacing allows use with perforated [prototyping PCBs](https://core-electronics.com.au/prototyping/proto-boards.html) and [female headers](https://core-electronics.com.au/0-100-2-54-mm-female-header-2x7-pin-straight.html).

This connector was specifically designed for connecting the [LCD](https://core-electronics.com.au/8x2-character-lcd-black-bezel-parallel-interface.html) on the [3pi robot](https://core-electronics.com.au/pololu-3pi-robot.html) to the main PCB so that it can extend out over the rear battery holder..
